She makes it clear that she doesn’t care about anyone’s opinion, not even her husband’s. Meanwhile, Bala Kaka tries to calm Sagar down. Baa, as usual, bluntly warns Sagar to stay away from Meenu. Anuj gently asks Anupama if her issue is that she doesn’t think Sagar is a good match for Meenu, or if she’s more upset that they kept their relationship a secret from her. He reminds her that love is unpredictable—it happens without our control. Anuj compares their relationship to Sagar and Meenu’s, explaining that while their generation might have gotten distracted by love, today’s younger couples like Sagar and Meenu manage to balance their personal lives with their careers and education. He adds that Dolly seems more concerned about social status, something they once overlooked for love’s sake.
Anuj argues that Meenu and Sagar deserve the right to choose their own life partners, just like anyone else. He suggests that while it’s okay to be upset that they hid their relationship, it would be unfair to punish them just for falling in love. Anupama agrees, saying that while it might be easy to rebel or offer unconditional support, the real challenge is convincing the family to accept this.
