The episode begins with Anupama sharing her thoughts with Anuj. She reflects on how he waited for her for 26 long years and loved her more than she could ever imagine. But now, after being together, daily challenges, arguments, and struggles have overshadowed those years of love. She admits that in his eagerness to marry her, things may have moved too quickly. Using the example of broken glass, she explains that trying to fix it might only cause more harm. Anupama suggests that they leave their relationship as it is, without pushing for marriage. She confesses her deep love for him but says she doesn’t want to hurt either him or their daughter, Aadhya. The thought of seeing pain or anger in Aadhya’s eyes terrifies her, and she’s also scared of marriage itself.
Anupama apologizes as she starts to cry, but Anuj gently reassures her. He says he’s sorry for bringing it up, explaining that he only did so because she asked him to speak his mind. He tells her that while she has the right to say no, he also has the right to wait for her, even if it takes the next seven lifetimes. He says he sees this as a blessing from Lord Krishna and tells her that whenever she’s ready, he’ll be there, waiting with his wedding attire. Whether she stays with him or not, he will always be ready, with open arms, for her. They embrace, and Anupama, half-laughing, calls herself strange for being hesitant. Anuj playfully suggests that they stay as boyfriend and girlfriend and make the world jealous of their bond. Anupama, surprised by his lightheartedness, smiles as Anuj reminds her that there’s a whole drama happening outside, urging her to join.
Meanwhile, Sagar is in tears, regretting that he didn’t tell Anupama about his relationship with Meenu sooner. When Anupama approaches him, he immediately apologizes. She asks him to swear on her that he will always keep Meenu happy, respect her family, and work hard to become worthy of her. Sagar swears to do everything she asks, vowing to become a better person for Meenu. Anupama advises both of them to wait until their careers are more stable before moving forward. Sagar touches her feet in gratitude, and Anupama reassures him that as long as they’re not doing anything wrong, she will support them. Bala, along with Nandita and Indra, agree with Anupama’s decision. However, Sagar is still worried about Meenu’s family’s reaction. Anupama tells him that while he should fight for his love, he shouldn’t fight with the family. He hugs her, relieved, and she promises they will face whatever comes next together.
The next morning, the household wakes up to the sound of the song Dulhe Ke Sehra. Anupama walks in with Sagar and Meenu. Dolly, confused, demands to know what’s going on. Anupama explains that while the previous day was full of arguments, tears, and misunderstandings, there’s still one issue left unresolved—the theft. She reveals that someone in the family tried to steal something and then blamed someone else. Baa, alarmed, asks who tried to steal her jewelry.
Anupama points to Toshu, accusing him of being the one who tried to steal. Toshu quickly defends himself, asking how she can make such claims without proof. Anupama responds that if she had solid proof, he’d already be in jail. She explains that while Sagar went to get a pillow and Meenu went for cough syrup, Toshu didn’t go for the mosquito bat as he claimed. Instead, he went to steal something.
Suddenly, attention shifts as Sagar and Meenu walk into the room with garlands around their necks, revealing that they’ve gotten married. The entire family is left in shock, as the tension rises.
In the preview for the next episode, Anupama is seen reading a contract while exchanging glances with Anuj, and the family searches for Meenu. Dolly, stunned, demands answers from Anupama about what’s happening.
