Anupama 28th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Anupama done Sagar and Meenu’s Garh Pravesh
The episode begins with Anupama recalling her love story with Anuj. She explains how they fought for their relationship despite facing many challenges. Flashbacks show Baa’s harsh words, saying that while a “princess” can remarry, a grandmother like her shouldn’t even consider it. Anupama reminds everyone that she was a divorcee, a mother of three, a mother-in-law, and a daughter too, yet she and Anuj fought hard to make their relationship work. Now, she scolds Meenu for hurting her mother and says that although she supports true love, she won’t stand by anyone who disrespects their family.
Meenu and Sagar apologize to Dolly, admitting they were wrong for rushing into things and hurting their loved ones. Sagar takes responsibility, and they decide it might be better if they leave. Dolly, visibly upset, shares her disappointment, telling Meenu how she had so many dreams for her wedding, but those dreams were shattered. She tells Sagar that he’ll never find happiness after making a mother cry. She also blames Anupama for supporting them.
Sagar tries to defend Anupama, telling Dolly not to be angry at her. He apologizes to Anupama, admitting they don’t deserve forgiveness, and they prepare to leave. Pakhi and Baa tell them to go, and even Toshu adds that they’ll understand their mistake when they are left without a place to stay. Dimpy comments about packing her bags for nothing.
Anuj gestures to Anupama, who tells Sagar and Meenu to stop, and she brings out the aarti plate to welcome them. Dolly is furious and follows her, accusing Anupama of trying to be the hero and making her look like the villain. Toshu sarcastically applauds Anupama. Anupama clarifies that although Sagar has good intentions, they both made a mistake. She’s only letting them stay so they aren’t left homeless, but forgiving them is up to Dolly. Anupama then asks Dolly to join her in welcoming her new daughter-in-law, but Dolly refuses. Nevertheless, Anupama performs the ritual, blessing Sagar and Meenu as they enter the house.
Afterward, Anupama gives the young couple some advice. She tells Sagar and Meenu that life changes significantly after marriage. Now, they must take responsibility for each other, work hard, complete their education, and build a solid foundation for their future. She wishes them all the best.
Later, Anupama shares her frustrations with Anuj, admitting she feels lost and overwhelmed. Anuj tries to lighten her mood by joking that they should run away to the forest, where he could chop wood and she could cook. Anupama laughs, but they both know it’s not practical. Anuj reassures her that she doesn’t need to take on everyone’s problems—Sagar and Meenu must now take responsibility for their choices. Just then, Aadhya calls for Anupama, and Anuj prays for her to take better care of herself.
Meanwhile, Aadhya, trying to focus on her studies despite all the family drama, notices Ansh looking sad. He tells her he misses their grandfather, who used to play with him, and that he feels lonely. Aadhya offers to play ball with him, and they start having fun, but the ball accidentally hits Ansh’s face. Dimpy sees this, becomes furious, and scolds Aadhya harshly, even pushing her. Dimpy accuses Aadhya of being bossy like her parents and even calls them beggars, claiming they’re not truly part of the Kapadia family.
Aadhya stands up to Dimpy, declaring that her parents are amazing, while Dimpy’s behavior is the real problem. She points out that even Dimpy’s own son is unhappy because of her. When Anupama arrives and demands to know why Aadhya is arguing, Aadhya explains what happened, including Dimpy’s insults. Anupama tells both of them to apologize, but Aadhya refuses and storms off. Dimpy complains to Anupama, who points out that Dimpy is just as much at fault. Ansh supports Aadhya, defending her for always caring about him. Frustrated, Dimpy decides to keep her son away from Aadhya.
Anupama and Anuj later inform Babuji about the marriage. Babuji suggests they do something to lift everyone’s spirits, and Anupama agrees. They decide to perform a few post-wedding rituals for Sagar and Meenu to create some positive energy in the house. They gather everyone in the living room, and Anupama insists on the ring-finding game—a playful ritual where the couple sees who has more “control” in the marriage. Sagar wins but refuses to claim control, saying he wants their relationship to be equal.
The family then suggests that Anupama and Anuj play the game for fun, but Anuj jokingly replies that they’ll play it when they get married again. Anupama smiles warmly.
In the preview, Dolly and Anuj are preparing to leave. Dolly taunts Anupama, offering her sugar and curd but then deliberately dropping it, calling it a bad omen. Meenu screams for her mother, but Dolly coldly ignores her. Later, Anupama and Anuj arrive at a place where a man questions Anupama about the inspiration behind her “Anu Ki Rasoi” (Anu’s Kitchen). Anupama proudly gives credit to Anuj, explaining how he was a successful businessman. However, the man dismisses this, calling Anuj a fraud and claiming that he went bankrupt.
