Anupama 29th October 2024 Written Episode
The episode begins with Baa feeling anxious as the evening draws closer, and they still haven’t managed to gather any money. Toshu explains that he tried reaching out to an old client for help, but the client turned him down. Baa sighs, feeling that this Diwali might be filled with darkness instead of joy. Dolly adds that ever since an unlucky person came into their home on Dussehra, things have only gotten worse.
Anupama walks in with confidence, assuring everyone that the money will be arranged. Baa, surprised, asks how, while Dolly questions where such a large sum will come from. Staying calm, Anupama insists they will find a way. Pakhi, doubtful, asks if Anupama had money all along and kept it hidden. Anupama explains that everyone, including Kinjal and Pakhi, keeps some savings, so they should trust her rather than questioning her.
At that moment, Ansh, Mahi, and Pari arrive and offer their own savings to help. Moved by their kindness, Anupama thanks them and assures them that the immediate need is handled. She smiles and tells them that if she ever needs help again, she’ll come to them first. Dolly, however, criticizes Anupama for even considering taking money from the kids. Ansh defends her, pointing out that Anupama had already declined and asking why Dolly would judge so quickly. He adds that he wouldn’t have been as patient as Anupama in her situation.
Anupama, deeply touched, tells the children how proud she is of their kindness, honesty, empathy, and values—qualities she tried to teach but now sees more clearly in her grandchildren. She encourages them to hold onto these values. Toshu then asks for the money, saying he’ll take it to Jigar Bhai. Anupama agrees but insists that Toshu must also apologize to Janki Behen and the other women he had previously disrespected. She explains that while she can forgive his behavior, the women he insulted shouldn’t have to. Toshu argues that, as the owner, he doesn’t need to apologize, but Anupama replies that these women are not servants; they’re homemakers with self-respect who can find work elsewhere if treated poorly. Baa promises to speak with Toshu.
Outside, Anupama removes Aadhya’s photo from her locket. As she’s about to take out Anuj’s picture, Aadhya accidentally bumps into her, causing the locket to fall. Seeing Anuj’s photo, Aadhya assumes Anupama values Anuj more than her and feels hurt. A jeweler then arrives, and Anupama gives him the locket in exchange for money. She thanks him, but Aadhya, upset, asks why she would give away such a precious keepsake of Pops.
Later, Prem arrives with a set of keys, saying he found them nearby. Anupama realizes they are her house keys and asks why he’s there. Prem explains he was taking photos of Kaveri and Gauri and gives her encouraging words. Ansh notices Prem’s behavior and finds him a bit too attentive. Anupama then asks Prem to help count the money.
Anupama takes the money to Jigar and asks for the house keys in return. Jigar, however, mocks her and refuses to give them, demanding six months’ rent upfront. Despite Anupama’s pleas, he remains firm, leaving her with no choice but to wait.
