Anupama 29th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Anupama proves Anuj is innocent of the fraud

The episode starts with Aadhya suggesting they treat the whole thing like a game. Kinjal encourages Anuj and Anupama to participate, so they sit down for the ritual, placing their hands into a bowl of milky water. The romantic song “Nazar Ke Saamne” plays, and everyone cheers them on. Bala humorously asks, “How long will this game last?” Toshu adds, “Even newlyweds don’t get this romantic!” Soon, Anuj finds the flowers, but it’s Anupama who ends up grabbing the ring and playfully showing it to him. Not impressed, Dolly walks away, muttering it’s all nonsense, and Baa, clearly unhappy, follows her. Indra suggests that everyone calls it a night, and gradually, the crowd disperses.

After everyone has left, Anuj asks Anupama to stay a little longer so they can play the ring-finding game again. This time, he secretly finds the ring and hands it to her, letting her win again. Anupama playfully questions if he’s admitting defeat. He smiles and tells her to get some rest since she has an important meeting the next day with Mr. Mehta’s son. In a teasing tone, he warns, “Otherwise, I won’t let you sleep all night.” Anupama stands to leave, calling out to him, “Kapadia ji, you’ve won,” and affectionately refers to him as “Bholuram.” Anuj laughs and says, “I’m not that naive, Anupama.”

The next morning, Anuj is seen helping Anupama arrange her saree pleats while Anupama fixes a loose button on his shirt. She smiles and says, “Are we starting the day like this?” Anuj responds, “Who said romance is only reserved for nighttime?” Feeling anxious about her upcoming meeting, Anupama confesses that she’s nervous about what they might ask her. Anuj reassures her with a smile, joking, “Maybe they’ll ask, ‘When will Anupama marry Anuj?'” She laughs nervously, and he notices her anxiety. Offering support, he decides to drop her off at the meeting.

Anuj informs Anupama that Mr. Mehta mentioned another firm interested in supporting startups and investing, and they’ll also need to interview her. Anupama points out that Anuj needs investments, too, for his ventures. Anuj looks serious, saying, “No one will believe in me anymore because of Ankush and Barkha; they’ve ruined my reputation.” Anupama insists that he must work to clear his name. Dolly offers Anupama some curd and sugar as a good luck charm. But before she can take it, the bowl slips from Dolly’s hands, shattering on the floor. Dolly, shocked, mutters that it’s a bad omen. Meenu and Sagar rush over to help clean up the mess and reassure everyone, “We learned from Mami that no matter who makes a mess, it’s important to clean it up.” Anuj thanks them, and he and Anupama leave with their heads held high.

At the meeting, Mr. Mehta’s son explains that Anupama must give a live interview for “Anu Ki Rasoi” to gain exposure. He asks if she feels comfortable in front of the camera, to which she confidently replies, “Not at all.” The reporter then begins, asking how she came up with the idea for “Anu Ki Rasoi.” Anupama responds that the concept came from Anuj, and she would prefer if he explained it. Seeing her devotion, Anuj decides to join her at the interview.

The reporter acknowledges Anuj Kapadia as someone the world knows well—someone who built the Kapadia Empire from scratch with hard work and integrity. But then, the reporter brings up the rumors: “I read that you’re now accused of fraud, bankrupt and that people lost their jobs and savings. Why should anyone trust you again?” Anupama stays calm and firmly responds, “What you read is completely false. Not everything you see on the internet is true.”

The reporter tries to counter, but Anupama stands up and faces the camera, stating, “The truth is, Anuj Kapadia is not a fraud. These accusations are nothing but attempts to ruin his good name.” She dares anyone to speak to Anuj’s past employees or clients, who will vouch for his integrity. She adds, “Eight months ago, you all heard these allegations, but during that time, Anuj had just survived a terrible accident. He wasn’t capable of handling his affairs, and Ankush and Barkha took advantage, seizing his properties, businesses, and even his home.” She emphasizes that Ankush and Barkha, not Anuj caused the losses and bankruptcies. She declares, “If Anuj gets control of the Kapadia Empire again, he will restore it to its former success. Anyone in his position might have given up, but Anuj is ready to fight back because he doesn’t know how to quit. He needs just one opportunity, and he will prove himself again.” Holding Anuj’s hand, she makes him stand before the camera and confidently states, “He deserves one more chance, and I am sure that he will succeed.” Anuj nods in agreement.

Later, in the kitchen, Sagar teasingly tells Meenu that the “wife look” suits her. Meenu, cautious of being overheard, warns him playfully, “Someone might see us!” Sagar laughs and says he has every right since she’s his wife. He gets closer, but Dolly suddenly enters, angrily throwing a glass to the floor. She warns Sagar to stay away from her daughter, which leads Meenu to defend her husband, saying she wishes her mother wasn’t being so harsh. Hurt and frustrated, Meenu admits that she sometimes wishes Mami were her mother. Dolly is visibly upset by her words.

In another scene, Anuj tells Anupama, “This interview was meant to be about you.” Anupama smiles, saying, “Whatever is mine is yours too.” Anuj, touched by her words, says, “You stood by me when I needed you the most today. And just so you know, the idea for ‘Anu Ki Rasoi’ wasn’t just mine—your strength inspired it. You turned your children’s doubts into something incredible.” Anupama, determined, promises to learn the business world from Anuj and become a successful businesswoman. Anuj smiles and adds, “I’ll keep romancing you while you do it.”

Later, they head to the temple, praying for each other’s happiness and success.

Precap: Anupama notices a marriage advertisement in the newspaper. Bala seems eager for someone to agree on something important. Indra and Nandita discuss getting a task done while Anupama prays for everyone’s well-being. Anuj then appears, declaring, “I want Anupama,” placing a garland around her neck and a bridal veil on her head, with the romantic song “Main Yahan Hun” playing in the background.
