Anupama 2nd October 2024 Written Episode Update: Anupama and Anuj steadfast in their decision
The episode starts with a heated argument between Dimpy, Pakhi, and Anupama. Dolly enters, making fun of Anupama for being in love at her age. Aadhya steps in, trying to calm Dimpy, while Paritosh criticizes Anupama and Anuj’s relationship. Instead of retaliating with anger, Anupama speaks up with confidence, telling them that their problem is jealousy—they’re envious because she and Anuj have the love they lack. She makes it clear that she doesn’t care what they think and confirms she is going to marry Anuj.
Anuj stands by her, and Anupama continues, saying there’s no age limit for love, just as there isn’t one for hatred. Anuj agrees, pointing out that love is what makes life meaningful. Anupama says she is proud of their love. Dolly, however, isn’t convinced. She thinks Anupama’s first marriage failed, so this one will too, and blames Anupama for keeping her away from her daughter. Aadhya defends Anupama, telling Dolly not to curse her.
Leela then questions why Anupama pretended she wouldn’t get married. Anupama admits she was scared—afraid that she might fail in her relationship with Anuj. But now her love has conquered that fear, and she is no longer afraid of anything, not even fate. She announces that the wedding will be held at Aasha Bhawan. Anuj adds, welcoming everyone who wishes to attend, while saying that fewer people means less negativity. Kinjal supports Anupama and promises to be there, but Dolly continues complaining.
Later, Aadhya takes Anuj and Anupama to a room, placing a small black dot on each of them for protection against evil. She happily announces that they’re finally going to be a family and that they’ll always be together, not just in love but in their work too. Anuj and Anupama agree, smiling at the sentiment. They all share a light moment where Aadhya makes a joke, and Anuj playfully tells her not to talk about boyfriends, promising to find someone for her just like himself. Anupama teases, saying there’s no one like Anuj, and Aadhya jokingly agrees that this is a real problem.
They take a selfie, deciding it should be their phone wallpaper. Anupama heads out to share the good news with Hasmukh, while Aadhya and Anuj celebrate with a dance. Aadhya doesn’t want to wait for any auspicious date, but Anuj insists they check for a good time for the wedding. Their joy, however, is interrupted by Pakhi, who storms in to spoil the moment.
Pakhi accuses Anupama of always putting the Shah family and Aasha Bhawan first, and says that Anuj and Aadhya are constantly overlooked. Anuj tells her to stop, but Pakhi goes on, saying Aadhya’s dream of a perfect family is nothing but a fantasy. Anuj, clearly upset, orders Pakhi to leave. Aadhya hugs him as he assures her that Pakhi is only acting out of jealousy.
The next morning, Anuj and Aadhya are busy preparing wedding invitations when Pakhi and Paritosh come along, planning to ruin things. Paritosh “accidentally” spills water on the invite, mocking them with a fake apology. Anuj responds calmly but warns that if he were to slap them by mistake, he’d also apologize casually. Pakhi and Paritosh are initially pleased with themselves, but they soon realize that the ruined invitation was just a decoy. Laughing, Anuj reveals that they had prepared the real invites ahead of time. Despite their actions, he still invites them to the wedding, though he warns there won’t be forgiveness next time.
Bala gathers everyone to start getting ready for the ceremony. Anupama, however, is still worried about Pakhi and Paritosh’s behavior. Indira tells her to ignore their negativity, as they will always act that way. Anupama admits that her happiness comes with a sense of fear. She trusts Anuj and their love, but the past still weighs on her mind. Nandita tries to reassure her, reminding her that it’s the first day of Navratri—a time for new beginnings. Sagar adds that thinking positively will lead to good things.
Meanwhile, Aadhya organizes a special dance practice with the children. Ansh eagerly joins in, saying he wants to dance with her. The other kids playfully argue about who gets to dance, but Aadhya assures them they all will. Nearby, Dolly, Dimple, and Pakhi watch in frustration. Dolly tells Dimple to keep Ansh in line, while Pakhi cynically says that even if Ishani is easy to control, Ansh listens to no one.
Later that evening, during the aarti, Anuj and Anupama place their wedding invitation card before the deity as an offering. Suddenly, the card catches fire. Aadhya rushes to save it, but Anuj and Anupama stop her just in time before she gets hurt. Aadhya insists she cannot let anything bad happen to their marriage, showing how deeply she cares. Indira reassures everyone that all is well now, but Leela sees it as a bad omen and suggests Anupama reconsider. Anuj dismisses Leela’s worries, staying optimistic.
Afterward, Anupama and Bala discuss financial troubles with Rajpal, who has come to collect taxes. He warns that if the payments aren’t made, they could lose Aasha Bhawan. Bala confronts him angrily, and he leaves, but his threat lingers. Bala advises Anupama not to worry, but it’s clear that the situation is serious. Paritosh overhears them, smiling slyly at their predicament.
Elsewhere, Leela laments losing the Shah house and misses Vanraj. She’s desperate to get their ancestral home back, feeling displaced. Dolly echoes her frustration, questioning how much longer they will remain in their current state.
Later, Anupama accidentally bumps into Anuj and apologizes, but Anuj playfully dismisses it, saying there’s no need for apologies between them—just gratitude. They flirt lightheartedly, with Anuj calling it love. Anupama playfully challenges him to prove it, teasing that he always ruins their romantic moments. Anuj reassures her about the tax issues, promising they’ll find a way to manage everything, and Anupama thanks him sincerely.
