Anupama Written Episode 15th September 2024

Anupama Episode Recap – September 15, 2024: Anupama and Anuj Welcome Mahi to Asha Bhavan
The episode begins with Pari telling Anupama that the Visarjan (idol immersion) has finished and their father has decided they can no longer come here. Mahi, feeling down, tells Anupama that even though Lord Ganesha has left, she feels lost and has nowhere to go. She explains that her parents left her, and now Toshu is angry and wants to send her away. She’s scared that someone might take advantage of her. Anupama tries to comfort her, while Kinjal assures Mahi that Toshu’s anger is temporary and that this house is her home too. But Toshu harshly says he will send her to an orphanage.
Anupama is upset by Toshu’s harshness. Babuji steps in to remind Toshu that Mahi is still his sister, but Toshu refuses to accept that, saying Mahi is just Kavya’s daughter and a burden to him. Anupama gets angry and tells Toshu off, but Toshu retorts that she has no right to scold him since he’s cut ties with her.
Mahi doesn’t want to go to a hostel or orphanage. Anupama offers to take Mahi in as her own daughter, promising that she will be part of their family along with Anupama, Badi Mummy (Anupama), and her sister Aadhya. Anupama reassures Mahi that she is not alone and has a new family now. Toshu mocks the idea, saying Asha Bhavan (their home) might be seized by the tax department, and wonders how Anupama can take on the responsibility of raising Kavya’s daughter. He tells Anupama to go ahead but makes it clear he doesn’t want Mahi back. He then leaves.
Baa asks Anupama how she will manage. Anupama confidently replies that Asha Behen built Asha Bhavan so no one would ever feel left out. Dimpy worries about how others might react, but the people at Asha Bhavan show their support, saying they’ve faced similar challenges and Mahi belongs there too. Pari asks if they can still visit Mahi, and Anupama confirms they can. Mahi is thrilled to hear she will stay with them and tells Aadhya, who is excited to have a younger sister. Anuj promises to raise Mahi as his own, and Kinjal reflects on the genuine affection in Asha Bhavan compared to the conflicts in their own home.
Later, they throw a welcome party for Mahi. Mahi is puzzled by the celebration, and Anupama explains that she is the guest of honor today. Bala adds that they always hold a welcome party for newcomers, although they missed doing it for Anuj and Aadhya due to illness. Aadhya gives Mahi a magic wand and tells her she can decide what happens at the party. Mahi, excited, asks Anuj to start dancing.
Outside, Ansh, Pari, and Ishu watch the party from a distance. Anuj dances joyfully to “Aankhiyon Se Goli Maare,” and soon the children join the fun inside. Kinjal tells Baa that although Asha Bhavan may not have much, its people are happy, unlike their own home, where they have everything but still feel unhappy. Kinjal admits she no longer wants to live with Toshu after seeing his behavior, and Titu feels the same way about Dimpy. Baa becomes worried. Inside, Bala Kaka joins Anuj in dancing, adding to the festive mood.
Later, Kinjal finds Toshu asleep and feels heartbroken over their troubled relationship. Titu, feeling down, goes to his room where Dimpy is asleep and feels sad. At the same time, Anuj and Anupama have a happy moment together, remembering their past.
The next morning, Babuji asks Anupama if Mahi slept well, and Anupama says she did. Babuji notes that Mahi misses Kavya and suggests setting up daily video calls with her mother to help Mahi feel connected. Anupama admits she has tried contacting Kavya but hasn’t heard back. She feels sad, remembering how Kavya fought for Mahi in the past, but now things have changed. Babuji thinks Kavya is probably working hard for Mahi’s future. Anupama reflects on how greed can complicate things, and Babuji reminds her that Ankush and others also betrayed Anuj. Despite these challenges, Anupama is hopeful about their financial situation, believing their business will soon improve, allowing them to cover their expenses, including Aadhya’s school fees and Mahi’s needs. She is confident that Anuj will find a new job soon.
Meanwhile, Dimpy wakes up to find Titu packing his bags. She asks where he’s going, and he says he’s heading to his mother’s house but isn’t sure when he’ll come back. Dimpy insists he can’t leave until she gets her share of the property, and she unpacks his bag to stop him from going.
Later, Anuj reads a newspaper article falsely accusing him of fraud and becomes upset. Anupama tries to calm him down, reminding him to stay positive and that everything will be okay. She shares her own experience of overcoming false accusations and assures Anuj that the truth will come out. She encourages him to remain patient and confident, telling him to say, “I can and I will.” Anuj repeats the phrase with renewed determination.
Ansh asks Kinjal for pizza, but Toshu snaps at him to eat what’s already been served. Dimpy scolds Toshu, and an argument erupts, leading to broken dishes. Baa tries to calm them down, but Dimpy brings up her claim to the house, and Toshu responds by saying she should contribute to their expenses. Meenu quietly picks up the broken pieces, and Dolly asks why she is doing that.
Later, Anupama lovingly serves breakfast to Anuj, who starts hiccuping. She playfully comments on his looks, which makes him laugh and stops his hiccups. They share a sweet moment, recalling Anuj’s earlier proposal and enjoying their time together.
