Atal 20th September 2024 Written Episode Update: Atal Is Not Allowed To Attend Sada Wedding
The episode begins with Atal locked up in jail, boldly confronting the police inspector. He challenges the inspector to shoot him, saying he’d gladly die as a martyr for the nation, just like the great freedom fighters. The inspector, irritated, responds that Atal won’t escape punishment that easily. Just then, Keshav walks in and tells the inspector that he can’t shoot Atal without proper evidence. Atal calmly adds that the truth can’t be twisted by mere ashes, hinting that someone is trying to fake evidence. The inspector stands there, fuming but unable to counter their words.
Meanwhile, KB is performing the pooja ahead of Sada’s wedding procession. Sada asks when Atal will arrive, but Saraswati quickly remarks that Atal won’t come, calling him a criminal. Awadh supports her statement, making the atmosphere tense. Vimla and Kamla, worried, ask if Atal truly won’t attend the wedding. KM reassures them confidently that Atal will show up. Sure enough, Atal makes a grand entrance, chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” as the locals follow him, cheering. Atal humbly tells them that he hasn’t done anything extraordinary, but they insist he is an inspiration for his love for the nation.
As the procession prepares to leave, KB asks if everyone is ready. KM urges Atal to get dressed for the wedding. Atal, hopeful, asks KM to check with KB if he’s allowed to join the baraat. KB remains silent, which Atal takes as approval. Excited, he hurries to get ready. Meanwhile, Keshav also gets dressed for the wedding, despite his father warning him to stop supporting Atal. Keshav defends his friend, saying that Atal is like a brother, and he will always stand by him. His mother blesses him with a tilak before sending him off.
When Atal comes down, all set for the wedding, Awadh angrily declares that Atal shouldn’t be allowed to join because of his recent actions. Atal firmly responds that he is a patriot and refuses to bow to anyone, unlike those who are controlled by their wives. Awadh, furious, argues back. KB steps in and declares that everyone can join the baraat—except Atal, as his presence would disturb the peace. KM stands her ground, insisting that Atal has every right to attend. The argument intensifies, but ultimately, Atal chooses to stay back to avoid causing more tension. KM, deeply upset, hugs him as she cries.
Precap: Atal is seen winning a wrestling match but is heartbroken over missing his brother’s wedding. The police inspector taunts him, saying that if Atal doesn’t give up his patriotism, it will cost him his life. Atal, undeterred, proudly replies that he has both his mother and motherland watching over him.
