Do Dooni Pyaar 16th September 2024 Written Update: Abhay’s Surprise Marriage to Ganga

The episode starts with Lalita calming Ganga, telling her not to worry about the wedding. Lalita helps Ganga get dressed and covers both her face and her groom’s before they leave for the ceremony. Meanwhile, Abhay is anxious, deeply concerned about his mother’s safety. A man shows him a video of his mother and threatens him, saying something terrible will happen if Abhay doesn’t do what he says. Scared for his mother, Abhay agrees to follow his orders.

Elsewhere, Neha, upset, approaches Shobha and tells her she had planned for Akshay to marry Ritika, but now she’s confused. Neha accuses Ritika of trying to get close to Akshay. Shobha, surprised, reassures Neha that Ritika hasn’t even met Akshay. To clear things up, Shobha calls Ritika, who confirms she isn’t interested in Akshay and doesn’t want to marry him. Neha is relieved but still wonders who else could be involved with her son.

At the wedding, Akshay and Ritu reach the mandap, ready for the ceremony. Ganga also arrives and starts praying. A photographer snaps pictures of the event, joking with the groom to smile for the camera. Ganga follows the rituals, unaware of what’s coming. Meanwhile, Akshay and Ritu exchange garlands, and Akshay reflects on the turn of events. Neha tries calling Akshay, but her calls don’t go through, leaving her worried.

As the wedding progresses, Ganga performs the aarti for Abhay, still trying to process what’s happening. Both couples exchange garlands and begin the sacred rounds, completing the marriage. The priest asks Akshay to apply sindoor to Ritu. Ritu hands him the sindoor, and Akshay fills her hairline, completing their union. Ganga, holding back tears, gives the sindoor to Abhay, realizing the unexpected path her life has taken.
