Jagriti 19th Sept 2024 Written Episode Update: Exciting Twists and Surprising Turns Await
The episode begins with Ballu’s wife trying to create a rift between Nanda and Jaggu. At the same time, Jaggu is worried about how to protect a rabbit and prays to Ram ji for help. Golu and his friends spot the rabbit, and to scare them away, Jaggu imitates the sound of a roaring tiger. The boys, frightened, run off. Grateful, Jaggu thanks Ram ji, believing help often comes in many different ways.
Meanwhile, at Kalikant’s house, his mother is performing a prayer ritual. Kalikant’s older son, Suraj, teases his younger brother, Akash, by poking him with a safety pin. Akash fights back by pinching Suraj. Kalikant sees this and tells his wife, Ganga, that Akash needs to toughen up. When Akash tries to explain what happened, Kalikant accuses him of being rebellious. After eating the offering from the prayer, Kalikant wipes his hands on Ganga’s sari and leaves with Suraj. Kalikant’s mother scolds Ganga and tells her to serve the rest of the offering to others.
Outside, Akash finds the rabbit. Golu and his friends try to shoot an arrow at it, but Jaggu uses a slingshot to knock the arrow away. Akash picks up the rabbit and notices the arrow on the ground. Golu becomes anxious, worried that if Akash gets hurt, they’ll be in trouble. They quickly realize that Jaggu was involved and grow angry. Meanwhile, Ganga asks Suraj where Akash is, but he’s too busy asking if he can play video games.
Akash follows Jaggu and asks why she shot at him, and if she’s someone called Chitta. Jaggu explains that she wasn’t trying to hurt him, only to protect both him and the rabbit. Akash listens, curious about her story.
Inside the house, a man tries to touch Kalikant’s feet as a sign of respect, but Kalikant rudely kicks him and steps on his hand, threatening him. He then orders a servant to wash his feet with holy water, saying the man doesn’t know how to follow the rules.
Outside, Jaggu asks Akash to give her the rabbit, but Akash refuses. She jokes, telling him that eating rabbit meat could make his hair fall out. Akash laughs, telling her he’s a vegetarian. Jaggu, surprised, says she’s also vegetarian, and they shake hands.
Just then, Kalikant steps outside and sees Akash holding the rabbit. He tells him to get rid of it, but Akash refuses, saying he had just saved it and its heart was still beating fast. Kalikant, having just purified himself with holy water, refuses to touch the rabbit.
Jaggu recognizes Kalikant as the cruel Sarkar known for hurting others, but stays quiet. Ganga joins them and, seeing the rabbit, remembers that Akash always wanted a daughter. Kalikant sarcastically suggests Akash take care of the rabbit if he’s so attached to it. He then leaves in his car, while Ganga tells Akash to come inside and eat.
After Ganga leaves, Akash calls out to Jaggu. She’s worried Kalikant might harm the rabbit, but Akash promises to take good care of it. After hesitating for a moment, Jaggu hands over the rabbit, now named Chiku, realizing that leaving it in the wild may not be safe. Akash happily agrees to care for Chiku. Jaggu thanks Ram ji, feeling glad that Chiku is safe in a mansion. They wave goodbye.
Durjan’s Family Issues Nanda complains to Durjan about how he insulted her. Durjan calmly reminds her that while he once led the village, he’s now just her husband. Nanda playfully jokes that she wants to complain to her husband about the village leader.
Their conversation is interrupted by a loud argument between Ballu and Harish. Ballu refuses to give Harish any wine, while Mangla begs Durjan to tell Jaggu and her friends to stop influencing Harish. Durjan instead orders Harish to gather all the chicks and put them in a cage, promising he’ll get wine afterward. Harish struggles with the task, and Durjan explains that he’s treating Harish this way to “make him stronger.” He mentions that Harish used to be a skilled hunter, but ever since he stopped hunting, their family’s income has decreased.
Harish stumbles and falls, but Jaggu steps in to help. Durjan tells her to gather the chicks and put them in the cage herself.
