Jagriti 3rd October 2024 Written Episode Update

Inspector Pratap confronts Jagriti, telling her that she belongs to the Chitta community, and according to Kalikant’s rules, Chittas are not allowed to sell fruits. He insists that Kalikant has given him the right to punish her. Geeta steps forward and questions Inspector Pratap, asking him under which law he plans to charge Jagriti. Pratap repeats that she is a Chitta and that her selling fruits is causing trouble for the crowd. Geeta calmly responds that if the crowd is bothered, it’s their issue, not Jagriti’s. She reminds Inspector Pratap that his job is to uphold the law, not to please the crowd, and tells him to leave. Reluctantly, Inspector Pratap agrees and dismisses the gathering crowd.
After the incident, Jagriti hands a 500-rupee note to Geeta, explaining it belongs to her. Geeta apologizes for running away earlier. Jagriti reassures her, saying she understands—people always act differently when they find out she’s a Chitta. Geeta admits she shouldn’t have reacted that way and apologizes again. Jagriti then asks why people treat her so poorly just because they learn she’s a Chitta, sharing how some kids in uniforms threw away her fruits. Geeta, surprised, asks if it was schoolchildren who did that. Jagriti, not knowing, innocently asks what a school is. Geeta explains that a school is where children go to learn and play. Jagriti then asks what “education” means, and Geeta tells her that education gives people the strength to achieve their goals and earn respect from others.
Back in the Chitta community, Durjan is celebrating with dancing. When he sees Jagriti, he asks her to share what she learned that day. Jagriti explains that when people find out she’s a Chitta, they hate her and refuse to buy from her. Durjan bitterly agrees, saying that society has always rejected the Chittas and that it’s only because of Kalikant that they are allowed to live. He warns that anyone who dares to rebel will end up like Jagriti.
Suddenly, Jagriti declares that she wants to go to school. Durjan, confused, demands to know what she’s talking about. Jagriti explains that school is a place to get an education, and that education gives them strength to do what they want. Bindi, overhearing this, tries to pull Jagriti away, but Durjan stops her and tells Jagriti to continue. He then turns to Bindi and asks if she knows what education means. Jagriti admits she doesn’t know much about it, but shares that a customer, whom she calls “Mama,” taught her about its value.
Durjan, intrigued, asks who this “Mama” is. Jagriti explains that Mama is a customer who bought fruits from her and told her how important education is. The crowd laughs at Jagriti’s dreams, making sarcastic comments about her desire to get an education.
