Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 2nd October 2024 Written Episode Update: Manish encourages Abhira
The episode starts with Vidya giving Ruhi and Rohit a relaxing head massage. Armaan and Abhira watch from a distance, and Ruhi offers Rohit some tea. Rohit, feeling content, says, “I love my life.” When Ruhi notices Armaan and Abhira looking on, the two quietly leave the scene.
Manish comments that something seems wrong with Abhira. He notices that for the past three months, both Abhira and Armaan have seemed down. Surekha agrees, mentioning that they haven’t even gone on their honeymoon yet. Suwarna thinks it might be because of too much work, but Surekha points out that Rohit and Sanjay could handle things at the office. Suwarna then adds that maybe it’s because Vidya and Armaan can’t have a child, and she wishes Vidya could come to terms with that.
Later, Abhira tells Armaan that his hair looks dry and insists on giving him a head massage. She puts on a cheerful song about massage oil to lift the mood, but Armaan looks sad and eventually asks her to stop, saying, “That’s enough, I don’t want a head massage. I’m going to sleep.” Seeing him like this makes Abhira feel down too, and she heads to bed.
The next morning, Abhira and Ruhi are talking about kitchen chores. Ruhi offers to make dinner and suggests that Abhira should share her worries with someone she trusts. Just then, Rohit walks in, kisses Ruhi, and notices Abhira looking stressed. Abhira says she’s running late for work and leaves quickly. Rohit sighs and says, “I’m such an idiot. I didn’t even notice her struggles. The issues between her and Armaan just never end.” Ruhi asks if Armaan even talks to Abhira at the office, but Rohit replies that Armaan barely talks to anyone, always looking angry.
At the office, Armaan is yelling at Atul for a mistake. Atul apologizes, saying it’s not his fault and blames the laptop. Sanjay checks the laptop and says it’s working fine. Just then, Abhira arrives and sees Armaan shouting and throwing the laptop in frustration. Armaan berates Atul, telling him, “Face the truth, you’re a failure. One day, even your mom will stop calling you her son.” Abhira apologizes to Atul and tries to calm Armaan down, but he cuts her off, saying, “You won’t interfere.” Abhira agrees and hands him some water, but he snaps, “No, just focus on being a good lawyer, not a good wife.” Hurt by his words, Abhira apologizes again and walks away in tears. Sanjay watches all of this silently.
As Abhira leaves, she runs into Manish and bursts into tears, hugging him. Concerned, Manish asks what’s wrong. Abhira says, “It feels like everyone is upset with me. I don’t think Armaan and I will ever be happy.” Manish is surprised and urges her to tell him everything, offering her a kachori to make her feel better. Abhira opens up, saying, “I’ve been trying for three months. I grew up with just my mom, so I don’t really understand how to manage a big family. I feel like I’ve failed.” Manish reassures her, “How can you give up so easily? You’re Akshara’s daughter, and you’ve always told me your mom was brave.” Abhira sighs, “But I’m not brave like her.” Manish smiles and says, “What will you do now?” He cheers her up, and she smiles, saying, “You really are the best.”
Meanwhile, Sanjay tells Dadi that they lost a client because of Armaan. Dadi is shocked, finding it hard to believe given Armaan’s reputation. Sanjay shows her footage of the incident, pointing out how Armaan even yelled at Abhira. He advises Dadi that it might be time to reconsider giving Armaan more responsibilities.
Later, everyone gathers to surprise Abhira, who screams in shock as they yell, “Surprise!” Krish announces they are going to play a game. Abhira jokes that Dadi will scold them, but Rohit explains that they’ve changed the game. He introduces a game where they have to throw a ball into a glass of orange juice. Abhira excuses herself for a moment, and Manisha mentions that they need to find a way to make Abhira smile more. Abhira soon returns with a plate of kachoris, saying Manish had sent them. Ruhi thanks her and asks if they should share them with everyone. Abhira nods, but Ruhi jokingly says there might not be enough left for them. Abhira laughs, saying if that happens, they’ll just go to Manish’s house and ask for more. Ruhi offers the last kachori to Abhira, but she insists she already had one. Ruhi smiles and says, “It’s ours,” breaking the kachori in half, and they eat it together. They all start playing the game, and Armaan watches them from afar. Vidya accidentally bumps into Armaan before walking away, while Abhira notices Armaan watching them before he leaves.
Rohit suggests they plan something special for Vidya’s upcoming birthday, thinking it could help improve things between her and Armaan. Abhira thanks him for the idea, determined to make it work. She says, “Just wait and see how I add some sweetness to their relationship tomorrow.” Rohit smiles and tells her she’s the best, while Ruhi watches happily.
