Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 3rd October 2024 Written Episode Update: Vidya yells at Armaan and Abhira

The episode begins with Dadi showing a video to Armaan and scolding him harshly. She tells him, “Focus on your work, or let me know if I shouldn’t expect anything from you anymore.” After that, she leaves the room, leaving Armaan feeling devastated. He sits down, holding his head, and looks at a gift box. With tears in his eyes, he says, “I failed as a good son, and I can’t even manage the business properly.”

In the meantime, Abhira notices Vidya approaching, so she quickly makes Ruhi wear an apron. Ruhi, confused, asks, “What are you doing?” Vidya comes in and says, “Wow, Ruhi, you’re baking a carrot cake for me? That’s great. I want to celebrate my birthday with only special people, so no strangers at the party, please.” She takes some water and leaves. Abhira then tells Ruhi, “This is why I brought you here. I want to make Vidya happy today.” Ruhi, still hesitant, replies, “But this doesn’t feel right.” Abhira insists, “I just want her to let go of her anger and accept Armaan. I’ll do anything to make that happen.”

Later, Manisha is on the phone, giving instructions for the party food. “Please make sure everything is ready by 6 p.m.,” she says, “and remind the chef not to use any walnuts. Vidya is allergic to them.” Despite this warning, Abhira adds walnuts to the cake batter. Soon after, Armaan stops by and wishes Vidya from afar, saying, “Happy birthday, Mom. You wouldn’t even have looked my way if I’d wished you earlier.” He walks away, leaving Vidya resting. Then, Armaan approaches Abhira and finds her busy in the kitchen. He asks, “What are you doing?” She answers, “I’m preparing for the birthday. I just want her to be happy and to feed you the cake herself.” They argue for a moment until Abhira hugs him, trying to calm him down. She pleads, “Please help me tomorrow. Take the day off from the office. Say yes, please.” Armaan doesn’t answer and walks away.

The next morning, Dadi performs the aarti, giving blessings to Vidya. She says, “Ask for anything today, something special.” Vidya replies, “Can you really give me what I ask for?” Dadi confidently says, “Of course.” Vidya sighs and says, “Then give me love. It feels like I’m not loved the same way anymore. I knew it—you can’t give me what I need.” Feeling sad, she walks away. Worried, Dadi turns to Madhav and says, “Please talk to Vidya.” Madhav, exhausted, replies, “I’ve tried, but she just keeps getting angrier.”

The birthday party begins, and Abhira watches everything from a distance. Vidya smiles at the decorations and the people gathered to celebrate. Music starts, and everyone dances to songs like “Be My Love” and “Rock and Roll Soniye.” Abhira imagines herself dancing happily with Vidya and Armaan, but quickly shakes herself out of the daydream and steps away.

Later, guests arrive, including Manish, Swarna, and Surekha. They wish Vidya a happy birthday and give her a gift. Manish asks, “Where are Armaan and Abhira?” Vidya replies, “Everyone is here. Let’s do the cake cutting now.” Abhira finds Armaan and urges him to join the celebration. He refuses, saying, “Let Vidya be happy today. If she sees us, it will ruin her mood.” Abhira tries to convince him, holding up the gift he bought for Vidya three months ago, saying, “At least send her this.” But Armaan refuses again.

Manisha notices people asking about Armaan and Abhira, and she tells Vidya, “Call them over.” Vidya bluntly says, “Just tell them the truth.” Abhira, however, stays hopeful and tells Armaan, “Rohit told me that Vidya won’t cut the cake without you. She will call for you.” Just then, they hear clapping and a song playing, and Armaan dismisses it, saying, “No one called for us.” Vidya proceeds to cut the cake and looks around, saying, “Armaan…” Rohit tries to step in, but Dadi interrupts, saying, “No need.” Vidya corrects herself and says, “I meant Rohit, my son, come here.” She then feeds Rohit the cake.

Abhira encourages Armaan, saying, “Please give her a bite. I made this carrot walnut cake for her, and I hope she likes it.” Armaan looks shocked and asks, “What cake did you make?” Abhira replies, “Carrot walnut cake. Why, what’s wrong?” Armaan is alarmed and says, “Mom is allergic to walnuts!” He rushes downstairs just in time to stop Vidya from eating the cake. Vidya mocks him, but Rohit steps in, saying, “Please stop, Mom.” Abhira explains, “Armaan was trying to save you. I didn’t realize you were allergic to walnuts when I made the cake. I added them by mistake.” Vidya angrily scolds Abhira and says, “I only have one son—Rohit—and one daughter-in-law, Ruhi.” Armaan is left heartbroken.

Abhira tries to stop Armaan, but he yells at her and walks away. In a rush, she reverses her car without realizing that Ruhi is behind it. Suddenly, Ruhi falls, and Abhira screams her name. Everyone rushes to help Ruhi, and later, the doctor announces, “Congratulations, Ruhi is pregnant.” Both Abhira and Armaan are left in shock.
