Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 4th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Ruhi is Pregnant

The episode starts with Abhira desperately calling out to Armaan to stop. Armaan, visibly upset, turns around and asks, “Why should I stop? Do you want to face even more humiliation? Why do you keep trying? I told you not to do anything that would cause trouble for me or Maa. I was afraid of losing her love, and now that fear has come true. Didn’t you see the anger in her eyes? This is my family, and just being here with them is enough for me.”

Elsewhere, Dadi scolds Vidya, saying, “You asked me for love, but are you even giving any to your own son?” She then instructs Manisha, “Order a new cake. We’ll celebrate this fake happiness. After all, it’s Vidya’s birthday.” Manisha nods and responds, “Sure, Swarna brought a cake earlier. I’ll get it.”

Armaan continues to lash out at Abhira, while she pleads, “I’m sorry, please don’t leave.” But he ignores her and walks away. Abhira, still emotional, gets into her car. At that moment, Ruhi runs towards the car just as Abhira starts reversing. Ruhi trips and falls. In shock, Abhira yells, “Ruhi!” Everyone hears her screams and rushes outside, finding Ruhi lying on the ground. Rohit quickly runs over to help her up.

Sanjay calls a doctor immediately, while Manisha thanks the guests for coming as they start to leave. Abhira, shaken, tries to explain, “I was only trying to back the car out.” Vidya, furious, accuses her, “You’ve hit her! This isn’t the first time you’ve had an issue with me. If you want to fight, just come at me! God may send enemies, but no one deserves a daughter-in-law like you.” Abhira breaks down in tears.

When the doctor arrives, he checks Ruhi’s pulse, and slowly, Ruhi opens her eyes. Relieved, Abhira quickly sends a message to Armaan, “There’s a problem here, please come quickly.” Concerned, Manish asks the doctor about Ruhi’s condition, and the doctor smiles, “Congratulations, Ruhi is pregnant.” Everyone is overjoyed. Ruhi walks in, and Rohit announces excitedly, “We’re going to be parents!” Family members rush over to congratulate her, hugging her with excitement. Manish, overwhelmed, says, “I don’t even know what to say.” Dadi adds, “You’re going to be a great-grandparent now!”

Vidya asks if the fall could cause any issues for Ruhi. Ruhi smiles and reassures everyone, “It wasn’t an accident. I just fainted.” Vidya looks relieved and hands Ruhi some prasad. Rohit then lifts Ruhi, beaming, “I’m going to be a dad!”

Meanwhile, Armaan arrives, having heard Abhira’s message. He stands there, watching the celebration, and Abhira comes to him, suggesting they go congratulate Ruhi and Rohit. Rohit turns to Armaan, apologizing for any past misunderstandings. Armaan hugs him warmly, saying, “I’m really happy for you.” Vidya watches them and thinks to herself, “You could have had this happiness too, but you chose the wrong partner.”

Abhira hugs Ruhi and says emotionally, “I can’t believe you’re going to be parents. I hope you become the happiest family ever.” Rohit jokes with Armaan, and Vidya asks Ruhi to get ready for the upcoming puja.

During the celebration, Vidya leads a song—tere sapno ka sansaar—as everyone dances around Ruhi and Rohit with joy. Abhira imagines herself dancing with Armaan. Manisha joins Abhira, trying to convince her to join the dance, but Abhira instead goes to help Dadi with the preparations.

Dadi hands Abhira a plate to hold, but Vidya comes and takes it from her. Surekha, watching from the side, questions, “Why is Vidya taking over? Dadi is the eldest; she should be the one doing the aarti.” Vidya begins the aarti and then invites Dadi to finish the ritual. Manish approaches Ruhi, apologizing to her. Confused, Ruhi asks, “For what?” Manish smiles and says, “Your eyes tell me you’re upset.” Ruhi reassures him, “I’m not upset.” He hugs her, and as Abhira passes by, he pulls her into a hug too. Both Ruhi and Abhira smile warmly.

Later that night, Abhira is haunted by Vidya’s harsh words. She looks at Armaan, who is peacefully sleeping, and whispers, “Your life has faced so many challenges because of me. I’m truly happy for Ruhi and Rohit, but deep down, I feel like I’ll never get to be a mother myself.” Tears roll down her cheeks as she softly adds, “Armaan, I need you. I feel like I’m falling apart. Please come back to me.”

Precap: Sanjay reveals, “Manish has given half of his property to Abhira. She and Ruhi are now equal.” Ruhi and Abhira hug each other, finally making amends. Sanjay then warns, “Life here is going to get even harder for you, and I intend to reveal the truth to everyone.”
