Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Vidya scolds Abhira and Armaan

The episode starts with Abhira calling Krish, asking him to take Rohit and Ruhi out of the house so she can set up a surprise for them. Meanwhile, Armaan tells Abhira that he’s going to spoil the baby, giving it everything it could ever want. He and Abhira then head out to buy toys. While shopping, they both reach for the same toy, and they begin to playfully argue over it, only to realize that it’s each other. They exchange a smile and continue shopping together.

Elsewhere, Ruhi looks confused. “What’s this, a five-hour yoga class?” she asks. Rohit nods, equally confused. “Yeah, it’s strange.” Charu chimes in, adding, “There’s also a massage therapy session afterward.” Aryan tries to explain, but Krish can’t help but laugh at the whole situation. Ruhi then remarks on Aryan’s experience with babies, clearly impressed. Kiara insists that Ruhi should go to the class, and Rohit agrees, noticing how excited everyone is to send them. Ruhi nods, and Charu says it’s their responsibility to take good care of the baby. Eventually, they all send Rohit and Ruhi on their way, and Krish immediately texts Abhira to let her know they’ve left.

While shopping, a man congratulates Armaan and Abhira on their new baby. They thank him, tears in their eyes. Abhira checks her phone and says, “Krish just messaged; Rohit and Ruhi have left. We should go back now.”

At home, everyone gathers to paint the baby’s room, with the song “Jo Dil Se Kahe” playing in the background. Dadi and Manisha stand off to the side, watching. Manisha turns to Dadi with concern, “Can’t you do anything to help Armaan and Abhira? They don’t look happy.” Dadi sighs, “They need to find their happiness on their own. We can’t do anything if their relationship is falling apart.”

As they paint, Armaan picks Abhira up, and everyone gets involved in a playful paint fight. But Abhira suddenly grows quiet, her mind drifting back to past memories. She wraps herself in a blanket and whispers, “I feel so foolish… I kept saying this was our baby.” Overwhelmed, she starts to cry.

Later, everyone gathers to take Rohit and Ruhi to see the decorated baby room. Both of them are filled with joy and emotion when they see it. Ruhi’s eyes well up, remembering her childhood. Rohit notices and asks, “Is something wrong? Are you hurt?”

Ruhi smiles through her tears, shaking her head. “No, I’m just really happy. The room is beautiful. I read in a pregnancy book that sometimes you feel like crying for no reason.” She wipes her tears and adds, “Thank you so much, everyone. I love it.” Krish then points out, “This whole idea was Abhira’s.” Armaan and Abhira smile warmly, and Ruhi hugs Abhira, tears streaming down her face. “I love butterflies,” she says, and Abhira replies, “I had a feeling you would. I happened to have this toy, but now it belongs to you.” Ruhi thanks her, and Armaan quietly steps out of the room.

Seeing Ruhi getting emotional, Abhira tells her not to cry. Just then, Vidya walks in and pulls Ruhi away, scolding both Ruhi and Abhira. She harshly criticizes Abhira before taking Ruhi with her. Hurt, Abhira walks over to Armaan and takes his hand. Armaan looks confused and asks, “Why has everyone come outside?” Vidya starts creating a scene, and Rohit and Ruhi suggest staying in the guest room instead.

Vidya, annoyed, questions, “What? How could they just change your room into the baby’s room without even asking me? Besides, the guest room will be too small for both of you.” Krish admits they accidentally broke the bed, which further complicates things. Aryan quickly offers a solution, “Krish can move into my room, and you can take mine.” But Vidya refuses. “No, both of you will have families soon, and you should stay in the biggest room in the house.” She then turns to Armaan and Abhira, demanding that they vacate their room. Everyone looks worried, but Armaan and Abhira agree without arguing.

Vidya then tells Rohit, “It’s settled. You two will move into their room.” Ruhi insists, “We don’t need their room. We’re happy in ours.” Vidya snaps back, “Did anyone ask me first?” Dadi quietly observes the unfolding situation, while Vidya continues, “We’ll prepare the largest room in the house for the baby. Why did you need to do all this without consulting me?”

Armaan nods and says, “You’re right, Vidya. We acted in haste.” But Rohit disagrees, “No, it was a wonderful surprise, and we truly loved it.” Vidya remains firm, “Don’t let your emotions get the best of you in a place where they have no value. Don’t be so nice that you end up regretting it later.” Armaan stops Rohit from saying more. Manisha turns to Dadi, urging her to intervene, but Vidya keeps berating them. She accuses Abhira of turning Maasa against her, and an argument breaks out. Frustrated, Dadi leaves.

Precap: Sanjay reveals that Manish has transferred half of his property to Abhira. He also mentions that Abhira and Ruhi are sisters, and they share an emotional moment, hugging each other and becoming friends. Sanjay then warns, “Life here is going to get tougher, and I will reveal the truth to everyone.”
