Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 6th October 2024 Written Episode Update: Manish surprises Ruhi and Abhira

The episode opens with Abhira and Armaan in their room, overcome with emotion, shedding tears as they take in their surroundings. The background music softly plays “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” setting a poignant tone. Abhira tells Armaan it’s time to pack their belongings and move on, reassuring him that they will make new memories together. Meanwhile, Dadi is fuming as she recalls Vidya’s words. Pouring water into a jar, she says, “I kept silent today, but if another mistake happens, I won’t stay quiet. When I speak, it will be impossible for you to ignore me.”

Abhira and Armaan then go to the baby’s room, where memories flood in, and both begin to cry. Abhira starts packing away the baby toys and taking down the pictures. Armaan, unable to bear her pain, pleads with her to stop, hugging her for comfort. She quietly goes to the washroom, her emotions overwhelming her. Feeling regretful, ArmaanFeeling regretful, Armaan thinks about their past moments together and asksasks himself, “What have I done to Abhira?” He rushes to the bathroom door, knocking and apologizing. “I broke my promise to you, and I’m truly sorry. Please give me another chance. I’ve finally realized my true love, and I want to fix everything.” Abhira eventually opens the door, and he embraces her, promising to make things right. Abhira, though, tells him, “It will take time,” before walking away.

Elsewhere, Rohit is on a phone call. He firmly says, “I need the best lawyer in the firm to handle this case.” Sanjay overhears, and Rohit continues, “Abhira and Armaan Poddar – they are the top lawyers we have.” This angers Sanjay, who quietly walks away. Meanwhile, Armaan feels emotional and picks up a toy tortoise, bringing tears to his eyes. Ruhi notices and brings him tissues, trying to console him. “You’ve been given a great blessing, don’t take it for granted,” she says, adding, “We all make that mistake – I took Rohit for granted, and you did the same with Abhira.”

Armaan sighs and admits, “When I married Abhira, I promised to support her, but I failed. Now, she doesn’t even want to talk to me. What if she never forgives me?” Ruhi reassures him, “You and Abhira are meant to be. Even when we tried to separate you, your love brought you back together. Don’t give up now.” She adds, “I realized what true love is when I found Rohit, and I want you both to be happy.” Armaan, feeling hopeful, says, “I’ll do everything I can to take care of Abhira and convince my mom.” Ruhi advises him, “A mother’s love can sometimes blur right and wrong, so stay firm, and don’t give in to unreasonable demands. Everything will work out.” Armaan nods, taking her words to heart.

Vidya and Manisha are planning Ruhi’s diet and ask Dadi for her opinion. Dadi takes this opportunity to taunt Vidya, saying, “Now you decide to ask me? You even did Ruhi’s aarti before I could. It seems like you’ve started thinking only about yourself. You used to care about the family, but not anymore.” Vidya apologized, explaining that she was just very happy for Ruhi. Manisha and Kajal watch silently as this exchange unfolds.

Ruhi, struggling to sleep, remembers her late mother, Akshara, and wakes up crying. Rohit notices and asks what happened. Ruhi reveals, “It’s a harsh truth that still hurts – my mom’s death. My aunt Maasi was responsible for it, and I hate her for it.” Rohit tries to calm her and leaves to get water. Sanjay overhears her, saying, “Why did you take my mom from me, Akshara Maasi? I hate you.” Sanjay wonders, “Could Akshara also be Abhira’s mother?”

Armaan offers Abhira breakfast the next morning, but she refuses, saying she has an important meeting. Manisha makes aloo paratha for Ruhi, who thanks her, but Vidya interrupts, warning her, “You need to be careful about your health. No more masala paratha.” Manisha also offers breakfast to Abhira and Armaan, but Abhira insists she’s in a hurry. Dadi urges them to eat, and they sit down, though Abhira is distracted. Ruhi gestures to Armaan, encouraging him to make an effort.

While they eat, Dadi tells Abhira to take her time, but Abhira responds, “I should never take anything for granted, whether it’s work or family.” Ruhi then asks if she can visit Manish’s house, and Dadi agrees. Vidya offers Rohit to drop her off, but Ruhi insists, “I want Abhira to take me.” Abhira agrees, and Armaan tells them to go ahead. As they leave, Manisha wishes them a nice day. On their way, Ruhi texts Armaan, “It was a good idea to bring her here; she will feel better.”

Suddenly, they bump into Sanjay, who spills hot coffee by accident. Abhira quickly reacts, saving Ruhi from getting burned. Ruhi looks at her and asks, “Are you alright, Abhira?” Sanjay, annoyed, tells them to be careful. Abhira responds firmly, “You should be more careful, especially since Ruhi is pregnant.”

At Manish’s house, he waits for them. Seeing them arrive, he thinks, “Ruhi and Abhira are family by blood. I need to do something for Abhira.” He speaks privately to lawyer Mishra, instructing him, “No one in the family should know about this.” Mishra reassures him, “Don’t worry, sir.” Later, Sanjay approaches Mishra to find out what Manish Goenka is discussing, but Mishra remains tight-lipped, saying, “It’s confidential.” Sanjay accepts this, giving him some documents, but later sneaks back to take them once Mishra leaves.

Abhira tells Ruhi she’ll meet Manish later, but Ruhi insists she comes inside for a while and takes a break from work. When they enter, they find Manish dressed as a golgappa vendor, playfully inviting them to eat some. They laugh and happily try the golgappas. Then, Manish points them to a kulfi stall, and they rush over, enjoying themselves as the show’s title track plays softly in the background.

When Mishra steps away, Sanjay checks the documents. Meanwhile, Ruhi suddenly feels sick from eating too many golgappas, and Abhira scolds her, telling her to drink water. Manish smiles and tells her, “Starting tomorrow, you need to eat healthy.” Ruhi jokingly replies, “Vidya is already making me eat only vegetables.” Rohit and Armaan soon arrive and see Ruhi and Abhira laughing together. Armaan thanks Manish for cheering up Abhira, but Manish credits Ruhi, saying, “It’s because of Ruhi that Abhira is smiling.” Ruhi suggests they stay longer, but Manish insists they should go home.

Sanjay, however, makes a shocking discovery – Manish has given half of his property to Abhira. In disbelief, he realizes, “Abhira and Ruhi are sisters, and Abhira’s mother was responsible for Ruhi’s mom’s death.”

Precap: Sanjay decides, “I will tell Ruhi that Abhira is Akshara’s daughter.” Meanwhile, Manish predicts, “This truth will bring nothing but hatred to the Poddar family.” Sanjay is heading home, determined to reveal the secret to everyone.
